In either case, check where the brake cable connects to the engine. There will be a wire from the ignition coil connected to the brake switch. Inspect that the wire isn't shorted on anything. Check that when the brake lever is pulled, the brake switch is not grounding the wire. If everything is O.K. and there is still no fire, proceed. 7. Remove the top cover of the engine. Locate the ignition coil. The spark plug wire is connected to it. Disconnect the small wire on the coil. Replace the engine top cover installing only the basic bolts. Check for fire.
